Found a lot of hits in Google on the term "Object Manager". Could you help by narrowing down the scope a bit?

I come up with:

Common Information Model Object Manager (CIM Object Manager)
A component in the CIM Server that handles the interaction between management applications and providers . The CIM Object Manager supports services such as event notification, remote access, and query processing .

BMC MAINVIEW AutoOPERATOR for z/OS Total Object Manager (TOM).

Using the SAS Object Manager.

Siebel CORBA Object Manager.

The term is used in reference to database tools.

On IBM's website I see:

CATIA Object Manager 2 (COM).

Tivoli Backup Object Manager.

Hi,

Just a thought..if you don't know much about this then at least you can tell us in what reference did you hear about it - that would give us a go.

Thanks Kevin.

Anuj,

The technical requirement for my project is PL/1, RExx, JCL, Object manager, VSAM. Sorry to be sounding clueless but all i know at this point of time is that this is a mainframe project and i would get the details only later.
