Empty a file in Rexx

Can please let me know whether we can empty the file in REXX? if yes ,please help me with the list of commands.

Hi,

"EXECIO 0 DISKW ddname (FINIS"

You can also use SORT with SORTIN and SORTOUT using the same dataset with two control statements:
Code:
  OPTION COPY
  OMIT COND=ALL
