I need sample of a simple COBOL-DB2 program. A cobol program executing a select query with a where clause.

look in any of the application programmer manuals for db2.
here is a link for all db2 manuals:

this is the redbook website, which is full of documentation written differently that a manual and are full of examples:

there is also the ibm developer works.
