| I want to take backup of packages daily using REXX tool. The date on which the back up for a package was taken is included in the back up pds name,ie.TEST.BKPNov10.* . Also I need to extract the backups taken on a particular date using rexx tool.Also is there any way to find the backups taken on a particular day , at a particular time??[/b] |

Hello Munni and welcome to the forum,
There is no "canned" rexx to do what you want.
To do what you want, i'd suggest you work with your scheduling people to implement a daily backup of what you need.
Once you have set up backups, they need to be tested. Far too often, a "backup" is run, but does not contain what was intended and this is only discovered when the restore is attempted. Ooops. . . |
