Hi Folks,
If we creat a map from sdf2 tool through Option 01(panel editor) then testing map is ok.My doubt is where the SYMBOLIC MAP stored.

Hi Babu,

When you will generate the map using option 6 of the SDF2 , it will ask you in which PDS to store the Symbolic Map and in which PDS to store the Physical Map. you can specify your own personal PDS name or sometimes you are bound to use some installation-defined PDS .

Thanks

Arunoday

Thats fine. While defining the map you mention only map-name and library name. But thats not the ned. After defining the structure and characteristics of the map you need to generate it using option 6 of SDF2, i.e create its physical and symbolic maps. During that option only you will be asked about the PDS names.

Please let me know any further explanation.

Thanks

No.
i did't mention any pds name for symbolic map.
i found it is predefined.when ever we r adding in to endevor at that time only the sybolic map will be generated.
i hope this is the right answer.
