Hi all,
I just wanted to know the procedure that has to be followed to covert a bmp program to dli and dbb.
What my knowledge is that the run time parameters for program dfsrrc00 changes i.e. bmp to dli and dbb.
The other changes is that for dli we have to mention the psblib and dbdlib and for dbb we have to mention the acblib.
Please notify me if there are any more changes that i have to consider.
waiting for your suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

You will need to add the databases to your JCL - you will need to check the executing program for any check point/restart calls. Remove any references in the acblib. You've got everything pretty much covered. You dbd definitions will not change. |

Hi Sandy,
I tried it out and I am getting a vsam buffer error
It says that my vsam subpools are not defined... i have included my dfsvsamp dataset in my jcl also but then the error changes to wrong dcb parameter DCB=ERB, and when i change the dcb settings to DCB=ACC i get the error as invalid buffer size or keyword.
Please help me on this issue.
Thanks in advance |

Hi Girish,
Did you change your exec statement from BMP to DLI? Do you have a systems programmer that can help? |
