Hello All,
Would you kindly tell me how to rename VSAM DATA SET of db2 tablespace? Actually cluster name is same buts somebody renamed data dataset & now it does not have any catalog entry. I tried using IDcams but
not successful
Tablespace name :TSPRPA83
Database name :BCQTPP13
Tablespace vsam data set

DSNE.DSNDBC.BCQTPP13.TSPRPA83.I0001.A001 *Vsam*
DSNE.DSNDBD.BCQTPP13.A0010042.D7215335 |
Somebody renamed it from DSNE.DSNDBC.BCQTPP13.TSPRPA83.I0001.A001 to DSNE.DSNDBD.BCQTPP13.A0010042.D7215335
Please let me know how we can rename it again |

Are you Sure DSNE.DSNDBD.BCQTPP13.A0010042.D7215335 is a renamed VSAM dataset.
Is it not the Data component of the table BCQTPP13 which has been migrated to tape
Generally DSNDBD is the dataportion and the DSNDBC is the clustering portion |

| Yes prashanth its data portion of the table but its nt migrated its still on dasd but somebody renamed it |
