In CICS Terminology, check for that PF key and you can send map with message invalid pf key is pressed.
EIBAID = DFHPF4
Send map and exec cics return with message as invalid key pressed
This is the process to deactive PF4 key.
Hope this helps. If your question is different reply back. |

in your CICS program, you test EIBAID for the particular pf key you want to disable (for example DFHPF1 would be for PF1) and then you give them an error message if they are equal. There is no way to physically disable the AID keys in CICS. All of them will restart your transaction, and you test for the ones you want to. |
