Does any one had ATND Abend in CICS if yes please let me know how did you solve this??I dont know how it occured in production as i am not able to recreate the problem in TEST Region but only thing i know is when i checked log file is i found the following
01234111432 012 -73594XYB2 XYPB200.B600.A-XYB2 - ABEND OCCURRED IN XYPB200 ABD= ATND
I did some research about ATND but the description doesnot really give a clue. Please let me know if any one faced/solved this abend. Thanks in advance.
ATND
Explanation: The node error program (NEP) or NACP decides that a task
should abnormally terminate, but the task is at a critical point of
processing and immediate termination would put the integrity of the
system at risk.
System Action: The task is abnormally terminated with a CICS transaction
dump when the task next requests any action against the terminal, or
issues a sync point request involving the terminal.
User Response: Check destination CSMT for possible further information.
Use the dump to determine why the task was abnormally terminated by NEP.
Modules: DFHZARQ, DFHZARL, DFHZSUP
Thanks,
Bachi. |

the node error program is invoked when zcp ( terminal control program for sna ) encounters an error during a terminal i/o operation
speak to Your support to understand how the NEP was coded and what actions were to be taken in different situations...
( transaction definition for example )
the abend is not manageable... terminal/network errors are unpredicable
so any action to prevent them is not possible... |
