Hello,
At the top of the web page is a link to "IBM Manuals". Among the documentation listed are manuals for several releases of DB2.
From the DB2 version you are using, open the Utilities Guide and search for DSNUPROC (the yellow flashlight/tubelight). All of the documentation is there as well as many examples.
If you find something you do not understand, post what you found back here along with your question about it.
Someone will be able to help.
Most likely, the reason there have been no replies to your questions is that your questions were not understood. |

My question is in load different phases , what (RE)LOAD will do? i can't understand the explain in the doc. I mean what the (RE)LOAD is doing in the load phase?
it put the data to a temporary file or it loads the data to the table in reload phase? |

It just LOADS the data into the table without checking any constraints. The records will be eliminated if any during Build phase if am right.
It could be different when INDEXES are built paralley using SORTDEVT parameter.
RELOAD is just LOAD. I guess IBM wants to differentiate between the LOAD utility name and diff steps involved in LOAD. (thus RELOAD). |
