the manual will certainly know,
why not look it up Yourself
a message explanation is something that is not IT culture, but must be looked in the manual
starting from, for example

and proceeding to

and continuing ...

to arrive at the end to

and ......

to find out that ....

Quote:
MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME

Revision| An MQOPEN or MQPUT1 call was issued, but the object
Revision| identified by the ObjectName and ObjectQMgrName
Revision| fields in the object descriptor MQOD cannot be
Revision| found. One of the following applies:

Revision| ° The ObjectQMgrName field is one of the
Revision| following:

Revision| - Blank
Revision| - The name of the local queue manager
Revision| - The name of a local definition of a remote
Revision| queue (a queue-manager alias) in which the
Revision| RemoteQMgrName attribute is the name of the
Revision| local queue manager

Revision| but no object with the specified ObjectName and
Revision| ObjectType exists on the local queue manager.

Revision| ° The object being opened is a cluster queue that
Revision| is hosted on a remote queue manager, but the
Revision| local queue manager does not have a defined
Revision| route to the remote queue manager.

Revision| ° The object being opened is a queue definition
Revision| that has QSGDISP(GROUP). Such definitions
Revision| cannot be used with the MQOPEN and MQPUT1 calls.

Revision| Corrective action: Specify a valid object name.
Revision| Ensure that the name is padded to the right with
Revision| blanks if necessary. If this is correct, check the
Revision| queue definitions.

Do you want to trigger the channel to start when msgs need to be sent?

If so:
1) on the XMITQ for the remote queue, assign TRIGGER=F and set Initiation Queue to SYSTEM.CHANNEL.INITQ (if that is your name). Also, assign a Process name. We use 'qmgr1.TO.qmgr2.PROCESS'

2) define the new process named above, including Type=MVS, ID = CSQX START and User Data = channel.name

enrico,

Since english is obviously not their first language, I wrote it off as a poor translation of "the manual had no good samples".

Maybe I was too generous? Yep, I did it again, too!
