please, please be a bit more specific...
a user defined error is just that .... user defined
and following this line of thinking also the handling must be .... user defined 
when You get a system abend You look at the systems code manual and follow the recommendations
when You get a user abend ( LE for example ) You look at the appropriate manual and follow the recommendations
when You get a user defined abend/error ( an abend/error You are causing by coding an abend for example )
You look at the application documentation and follow the recommendations
very little can be said to guide You further in the problem resolution |
