GDG back Up of latest 5 generations files

Hi,

I have a JCL which takes the weekly back up, here my requirement is

I have 20 days back up files available but I want to take back up of latest 5 generations files back up in my weekly job.

Please let me know if there any way I can do this instead of getting file back up for 20 days in a weekly job which is meaning less.

I am sorry if the question is looking silly.

Use the 0,-1,-2,-3,-4 versions of the gdg to back up. It is as simple as that unless i have understood the question wrong.
