Hi,

How to use VERSION command???

At command propmt I am able to assign version for particular dataset, say VERSION 1. I made further changes and assigned VERSION 2.

Is this versioning will be helpful while comparing changes from VERSION 1 to VERSION 2???

Himanshu

I'm not sure if setting the VERSION number of a member in the ISPF stats has any practical application other than:

1) You could uset the FILTER VV EQ nn command to display only members with a certain VER value.

NOTE: Use REFRESH command to turn off the filter.
