Dear Moderators,

Many interesting topics are discussed everyday and is there any way to flag/mark a topic for future reference? As of now am searching with few keywords but am finding it difficult.

your browser has bookmarks (or favorites - or something). that is where you should mark these tidbits.

you could also obtain a free version of a pdf generator and then store the webpages (containing your topic) as a pdf on your pc.

why do you not think of a solution yourself instead of expecting someone else to provide a solution to your problem.

searching is a pain because somany people do not bother to use meaningful topics.

I just wanted to know if there are any options in this forum to mark/flag a topic. That is why it was addressed to the moderators.

I had also thought of all these generic ways.

No. I believe this would only be extra work for site admin and would add unnecessary overhead to the forum.

It is far too easy to mark some link as a "favorite". You might also create a reference document on your system and put the link as well as part of the topic in it.
