Hi,
In KEYS option first parameter will be the length of the key and the second one will be starting position of the key.
KEYS(<length of your key field) 26)

a piece of paper and a pencil ( well sharpened ) should help You to solve Your doubt
position 1 = offset 0
position 2 = offset 1
