Skills/experience required

• 10 years industry experience
• 3+ years team management experience; with remote team management, ideally within financial services. Demonstrable leadership experience required.
• Excellent spoken and written English, clear communication skills, calm under pressure.
• Experience of managing a development team in a professional enterprise environment
• Experience in a variety of programming languages (eg C, C++, Java, perl, SQL)
• Experience of COBOL and mainframe desirable
• Demonstrable project management and risk mitigation qualifications
• Experience in treasury or payments service platforms (preferred).
• Experience with Agile / eXtreme Programming project methodology and development teams
• Experience in “greenfield” / new outsourcing engagements; must be able to evidence team building around a new platform.
