We are planning a conversion fro OS390 2.10 to ZOS 1.8. Has anyone done this, and are there changes on the application side (programs, JCL, compilersrs, etc.)

replying to such questions is way beyond the objective of these forums...

since You are asking yes no questions, that's what You are going to get!
yes, many; no,no,yes
( unless You want to exploit the new zos facilities )

but if You had cared to run a simple google search with "zos migration"
You would have found
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/bkserv/zos_migration_manuals.html

Enrico, Thanks for the info. it was exactly what I was looking for. I was hung up on searching for 'conversion', but your simple use of 'migration' was the key.
I will periodically search for your replies on this forum in the future as they are always helpful as well as entertaining. What would I do without you! [/img]
