ask Your peers,
search the application development documentation

PS.: please never use the word urgent when asking for help

Well,

Enrico has given You a right direction. For an alternative solution, You can search the file name in 'base-line' source program library at your shop; if the file is not a new one & was used in some program, you might get luckier.

Hi
Thanks Enrico
If you don't mind can you just suggest any method other than using File Aid?
If so it will be quite helpful to me. Becouse i don't have any peer for this project also they don't mention about all copy books. icon_redface.gif
Thanks
Hari

Hi,

when you open the file using the FILE-AID, you can able to see the variables used in the copy book, check for the copy boook contains those variables and use it.

Hi Anuj,
After checking the copy books using file aid i found a copy book which is most compatacble with my VSAM file i copied that copy book and add some changes to it,And using Change man i just staged my new copy book and compiled by using it.So that i can make my program workable.i feel to do so after seeing Vasanth's responses.
so i am thankful to you all.
Thanks
Hari
