Hi All,
Can anyone help me in understanding the module CONTROL.
Find the job step I am using.
//STARTBBA EXEC PGM=CONTROL,
// PARM='/P552BBA A>0,L,RSTRTBB2,A A=5'
//STEPLIB DD DISP=SHR,DSN=PC101.PROD.LOADLIB
//SYSPRINT DD DUMMY
//CONTROL DD DISP=SHR,DSN=CA552.&PROD.CONTROL(P552BBA)
//HISTORY DD DISP=SHR,DSN=CA552.&PROD.CONTROL(HISTORY)
The Control & History file I have attached.
Whenever I submit this job.This step flushes.
Can anyone help.We do not have the CODE for this CONTROL program.We only have LOAD for this module. |

DO NOT post attachments as many people are not allowed to open or view them, which means that there are less people able to help you.
Is this a site specific question ? |

That module was written for your shop. And I don't understand anything from two output PS.
Please ask your peers or refer the documentation or possibly contact application design team. |

ask Your support about the standards...
from the datasets naming convention You should be able to find where the program comes from and the related application
what is the meaning of the "PC101" hlq ?
same thing for "CA552" |

PC010 is the hlq for the LOAD lib where CONTROL module resids.
CA552 is Application HLQ. And job name is P552BBA. |

I could well see that the the CONTROL comes from a dataset with a PC010 hlq...
what I was suggesting is ask Your support to understand what PC010 means for Your naming standard |

Hello,

What does this mean? If the job "flushes", there is some reason. Post the diagnostic output from an execution.
Why is this job run? What happens if it is not run?
Have you looked thru the load module to see if there might be any kind of eye-catcher or maybe copyright info? |
