Hi,
I am trying to read ksds file with alternate key which is part of primary key. I have given cluster dataset in select statment and cluster and path in JCL. I passed some value to alternate key and tried to read with start key . but its giving error like record not found( even though record is availble). But its working fine when i am trying in sequential mode. could you please help somebody on this. |

COBOL?
Probably something wrong with the select or FD or the DD, that's my guess.... |

This is a very weird situation...even I'm facing the same problem...the problem is that if the AIX is a part of the primary key and one issues a search on that AIX...it does retrieve the correct data..but it then replaces the primary key value with the value fetched thereby modifying the actual AIX content...hence the "record not found" message..I'm sure there's a way out.... |
