How to avoid SQl -904 in Insert Query from COBOL prgram

Hi Friends,

I am getting resource Unavailable -904 while my query does an insert to a table. This is done via a Cobol program. If I issue a Commit Statemt after say evry n records of Inserts, can I avoid this -904.
I need a solution for this
