Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is current buzz word in the industry. Could anybody tell me what it is? And what's its impact & implication on mainframe technology?

when You get the page

enter SOA in the search argument

enter 50 in the Limit#

enter/ click on IBM Systems Journal

and You will get 10 documents dealing with SOA
