Hi all,

we can get the number of records in a vsam file using file-aid
with 3->8(interactive) option but when I give this I should enter command in the screen to get the count.

it will ask as follows

F I L E - A I D V8.9.5 RELEASE DATE 02/27/06
....ENTER NEXT FUNCTION OR END

Now we need to type the command could any one help me with the command.
to come out of this we need to give type "END"

thanks
ajay
