I have 2 jobs say JOBA and JOBB.
JOBA is daily and JOBB is monthly.
JOBA should trigger JOBB on its last run in a month.
Schedule ID of JOBA in CA7 canot be disturbed as we have several other dependencies based on SCHD ID of JOBA.
Is there any other way through which this JOBA - JOBB triggering can happen? |

Just some thoughts:
Setup a calendar specifying the last day of each month.
Schedule JOBB on that calendar with a condition that JOBA must complete before JOBB starts. |

I am sorry. There is a little miscommunication in the problem that I have posted.
Actually JOBA should be triggered by the monthly job JOBB when it runs and not as specified in my first post.
Is there a way in which this can be done without using a separate schedule ID. I mean using 2 different calendars as you had suggested but under the same schedule ID or any other way. |

I don't know enough about CA7, just bits and pieces. Have you perused the CA-7 manuals or contacted CA for support? |

Schedule JOBA daily except for last day of the month, and as JOBB is scheduled only on the last day of the month it can trigger JOBA. |
