Hi All,
I got an unprotected field with ATRIB=NUM i.e I only want integers to be entered in this. But I am still able to enter + , - and # in this field which is not acceptable. Is there any to retrict these variables in my field.
I am getting ASRA coz of + and # and - is been converted to 0 by my logic.
Thanks in advance. |

Try adding the PICIN clause to the map-field INPUT definition. You may or may not need PICOUT added to your map-field OUPUT definition, but that's your decision.

Can do some editing after accepting from terminal to prevent them going downstream in the program. |
