Hello,

The reason you have received no replies is most likely because your questio is not understood. Keep in mind that while your question is completely clear to you, it may not be to others.

Please provide more information and someone should be able to offer suggestions. You should describe what your process to be recovered is doing and what you expect from a "recovery".

Hello,

What is presenting the "status" message? What error message number is presented? Is there an associated abend code? If you look in the CICS sysout datasets, you may find more info.

Is this a new program or a program that has been recently modified? Has this program ever run successfully?

I'd suggest you talk with your CICS system programmer rather than "some guy" (unless the guy will tell you how to do what he suggests).

"TASKS STATUS IS INCONSISTENT".

This does not look like a CICS message. I'm guessing your in house
application code is producting this.

run the transaction through a debugger to determine
what program is producing the message.

you can use CEDF, if you don't have 3rd part debug software.
