Hi all

can anyone please tell me the significance of schedule ID of an JOB.

To be more clear when a JOB is ran in production ,it is ran with some schd id.that too is not fixed(if someone can answer why its not fixed it will be great help to me).

Please tell me if you require any more clarification on my question

Aaaaaaaaaah, the SCHID is used to differentiate between requirements or triggers of the same job under different run conditions.

e.g JOBA using SCHID=1 can be scheduled every day except for the last working day of the month where it will run under SCHID-2, and only when run under SCHID=2 will trigger another job.

That way the other job which depends on JOBA is scheduled/triggered after JOBA and only on one day a month.
