Hi All,
I need a help I am getting a abend as U2233 in DB2 program. we are working in IDMS programs, we have some DB2 programs, when we run the job using the DB2 program, I am getting Error as U2233.
Can one help me in this.

That might be an user abend. Can you post the error message?

Agni,
yes you are right, its User abend only. We restarted the Job in production the job run successfully. We saw the abend as ABEND=S000 U2233 REASON=00000000. we dont know the reason. May be database contention.

Hello,
User abends are code specific. Whatever generated the U2233 should be documented somewhere in the material you were provided when the code was installed.
It may be a good thing to do the research and find out why a U2233 is raised - it may cause more of a problem next time. . . |
