(3)DB/DC-database/data communication
Under a DB/DC control system , an application program can concentrate on the application processing, being free from considerations of OS, hardware, etc., which are not really the interest of the application programs.
This was initially developed in order to provide control functions of online systemenvironment.

Hi Ankur,
DB/DC is DataBase/DataCommunications System. IMS is an example. It's something like combining DB2 and CICS, except that DB2 is relational and IMS is hierarchical. |
