i want to get the result of a search i.e(lets take select stmt from db2) in a screen
....how to design that screen macro and i want to use that data for further use ..so they must be named(if i am not wrong..)
..if anyone ok with this...pls help

hi...
let me explain some more clear
i want a screen in which the result of search has to display..so how to code the macro regarding named fields..because i have to use that result from that screen when recieving |

Still not understanding your post.
Let me try to ask question... do you give option of select statement to users in online screen, and then take that fields/columns and do search and finally show result on screen? |
