Can someone please help me with basics how to set up Xpeditor for a DB2 pgm? I have idea how to do the set up for a normal COBOL program. Any help will be much appriciated. Thanks |

Hi,
It is same as for batch programs, only difference is that at the ending of the preparation of program in expeditor, it asks whether it is a batch or COBOL-DB2 program, there you have to provide yes,DB2 subsystem name and plan name, from this u have described the path of the cobol-db2 program.
then enter the entry point pgm name and pgm name then actual pgm will be displayed for you and then expeditor puts comments on the DB2 statements because xpeditor understands the cobol language that's why?
Then usual testing we can do on the displayed program.
