Hi,
will there be any overload to the processor by hitting the enter key frequently after the job is submitted?

Every time that you hit enter in SDSF watching your job running, you may notice that the screen is updated. So yes, you are using resouce every time you hit enter.

Outside of SDSF, when you hit enter the system will be looking for what you have entered, so again - yes using resource.

When you in ISPF Editor, if your HILITE is ON, any ENTER will cause the editor to re-hilight the data.
