I have a field is defined as Varchar Binary in DB2 V8 database and I would like to run a query to retrieve the data from that field into readable data. Anyone knows how to use a simple query to do that instead of writing a COBOL program to do inspect?

Thanks in advance
Sharron

What happens if you run a query including this field in youjr SELECT in SPUFI?
