We can view the VSAM files using ISPF, you could just make use of AMS Modal commands "PRINT IDS(/) CH" against a particular VSAM dataset in 3.4 screen.

Hi All,

You can browse VSAM dataset by printing it in spool, I mean, Use AMS COMMAND IN COMMAND LINE,

Print IDS (/) CH against dataset name, U can see a records.

EX:
PRINT IDS (/) CH ABC.VSAM.USER

Thanks and Regards

Hy,

you can also make an IDCAMS REPRO into a ordinary sequential file...
then you can look at the data...
