| I am not able to find enough description about a changeman related problem CMN8711I - It talks about staging version error but I am not sure what it means. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

In case, SYSPRINT messages provides you some solution/s, it's good, Please post them here for the forum. If not, you can post your SYSPRINT, hopefully some one here would be able to provide a direct answer.

| I use changeman in online mode and get the message on the screen. This problem happens before a compile job gets submitted through changeman. So I do not see any sysprint which could provide me any additional information. |

I do not know what is 'changeman in online mode' ? If you tell how do you compile your program in CHGMAN, may be I can help you. |

Are you using the CHGMAN command for changeman?

I think the problem is while staging the component from the libraries. Just check if you are staging from the correct library (Your request PDS).
usually compile job gets submitted once the staging is successful. |
