Hi,

I need to insert the GDG file version name to the transaction log table. I have a COBOL DB2 prog and the JCL to create the GDG.

Please assist.

Hello and welcome to the forums,

Please clarify this with an example or 2. Do you need to capture info on input or output datasetes? Both?

Also, please relate the COBOL/DB2 program and the JCL (IDCAMS?) to create the GDG to your requirement.

When we better understand your requirement, we may be able to offer suggestions.
