Hello,
It is possible that i do not understand your question, but from my experience, jobs to not run in one tso or another. Jobs run in batch.
Any job run will create smf records and the job information (including all of the return codes) can be gotten from them.
As i said, i may not understand your question. If that is the case, please clarify. |

I have 2 region TSO1 and TSO2 (all test environment ). One for each country say US and CANADA.
I have to submit some job in TSO1 and then i have to go to other region (TSO2) to submit some job.
Everytime to submit the jobs in tso2 ,i have to login to TSO2 and then submit the jobs. I would like to know if its possible to submit these jobs while i am working in TSO1 .
I guess i clarified you. Please do let me know if you still didnt understand my question.
thanks |

Unique,
At your site, TSO1 & TSO2 should be two different LPARs.If so, then this

should not be possible.
As you said, both are for testing, may be TSO1 is for testing & nothing but testing while TSO2 can be for testing 'final' code(including development program, JCLs, PROCs etc..) to be promoted in production. If so, TSO2 should be an exact replica of your production region in terms of system setups.
P.S.:LPAR is acronym for Logical Partition.
Hope this helps. |

I've got one alternate way. Once a JOB is ended successfully (or at whatever point you need) in TSO1, you can NDM or XCOM some DSN to other region & can make your 'some other JOB' DSN triggered. |

If the two regions, and I assume that you mean LPARS, are linked via NJE then you can take a look in the JCL manual and look at the ROUTE XEQ parameter. |
