Max volumes in VOL=(,,,xx) parameter

I can use VOL=(,,,99) , but I want to know what the limit of the amount of volumes is that i can use in my JCL

If 99 volumes is insufficient then you have some real problems icon_eek.gif
Take a look in the JCL manual and see what it says.

Be aware that for DASD files you can only allocate up to 59 volumes.

I searched in the manual :
The volume count is a decimal number from 1 through 255 for a tape data set.

That must be enough icon_cool.gif
