Hi all,
What is the necessary to use all division in COBOL..
Is any rule or standard of COBOL program..
Actually i cant understant the concept behind the division why should include all the divisions in COBOL program while writing it..

If you would take the time to check a manual, (top of every page of this website) you will find out which COBOL DIVISIONs are required. |

Hello,
At the top of the page where you are reading this, there is a "Manuals" link. Click on that link and the first 6 manuals linked are for current versions of COBOL. Click on the Language Reference or the Programming Guide for the version of COBOL your system uses.
Information about divisions will be very similar in all 3 sets.
If you find something that is not clear, post it here with your question about what is not clear to you. |
