You should check out this link which will list all the manuals for CICS. Pick the appropriate version (same as that running on your site) and look thru for an explanation of all the cics control tables.

raveeshkumar,

I posted the link 10 minutes ago and you are already crying in Private Messages about not finding the answer.

Why should someone take the time to compose a rather lengthy post just to spare you looking thru some manuals. you can download the manuals to your pc and not have to deal with the net/transmission time as you read. you are going to have to read manuals one of these days; I suggest you start now, you have the whole weekend.

or use the z/OS Library Center and use their search facility, which will search all book in the library center for your keywords. Then go thru the results. Suggest that you open a new TAB for each reference, otherwise your current page will be changed and you will then have to use the 'BACK' button on your browser to re-find your search results.

Yea, he PMed me too....
I PMed back telling him that he should read the forum rules and respond to his thread (but as of now he hasn't bothered to read it).
If he keeps this up, I'll have to report him...

well he just PMed me again saying that he was sorry, but that he had an interview on Monday and had been told that this kind of info would be asked.

well, if he reads the manuals he might be better qualified for a job that he is trying to lie his way into. who knows what other things about CICS he might learn if he was to go thru the manuals.

way back when...., if i was lucky, someone would tell me the manual that I needed to look at. If no-one knew or could not be bothered to tell me I had to go thru at least the index of every manual that we had.

Now with the JAVA enriched search capabilities of the document library servers, no-one has to ask which manual has what. enter a keyword and every manual in the library that has the keyword comes back as a search result.

Maybe I should post my 'how to find the manual' threads on this board, also.

as far as reporting him....don't waste your time. The board is full of these types.

Only thing that irritate me is that everyone under the sun can PM me, but I can not
  1. stop people from PMing me
  2. originate a PM.

Mr Thompson, I would reply via PM, but not only can I not originate PM's, I can not post replies to PM's, otherwise I would not be making this POST.

I receive a page that says
