Is there any IMS utility that can unload a database in a sorted order of the keyfield forthat particular database?? I am currently using DFSURGU0 which is not providing unloads in a sorted order |

You can check BMC unload utilities.
Also from File Aid you can do unload. |

You can write a COBOL program to read all segments sequentially and write it to output file.
Create another Load program which will read this input file and loads to database in sequential |

If your structure is HDAM and you extract a file from it, it will not be in key sequence. If you try to do a load, you will abend. You must use a simple external sort to first sort before the load. |
