Now there is a bright feature for IBM COBOL & ENTERPRISE COBOL.
If you new to Mainframes, try to learn Enterprise JAVA and CICS/TS also. |

If u know COBOL u cant do any thing in MAINFRAMES.U cannot run u r programmes with out JCL.So u go through JCL. |

if you know the cobol .you better concentrate on file handling .in this KSDS and ESDS are key factors.you do more programming on these. you learn jcl and DB2 also. now a days there is a nice market for IMSDB try to learn that.
