Hello
I am facing an issue with IMS transaction AB100T02 . AB100T02 triggers the MPP program AB100 . We have found that when this transaction is triggered by a batch driver program with a few 100 record in queue(say 400) , AB100 encounters QC(queue complete) after every 4 or 5 records in the queue, i.e. after every 4 or 5 records AB100 is triggered again for a set of 400 records in the queue. However when the same program is run through the expediator , it encounters QC(queue complete) only at the end of the 400th record.
We also found that QC is returned by IMS when
- An MPP or transaction- oriented BMP issued a GUcall to retrieve another
message, but either there are no more messages or the processing limit
(that is,
PROCLIM= parm on the TRANSACT macro) has been reached.
We found that for transaction AB100T02 the following are mentioned
Parlim ===> 3 Proclim1 ===> 00100 Proclim2 ===> 00010
Is this ok ?
Can you help me understand this strange behaviour ? |
