Hi All,
Can any one tell me the difference between Repeatable read ( RR) and Cursor stability (CS) of Isolation level in DB2
when we use SPUFI we can see the isolation level as RR or CS

Thanks and regards
Sandeep

Hi,

I think SHANE is correct. Before posting on this forum you should first search for your query in it. Since you have asked, So

CS- When we move to second page, release the lock over the first page. It avoids concurrent update and provides write integrity.

RR- All locks acquired until commit point. Prefer this, when u have to read same rows again and want the same data on those. Provide read and write integrity.
