Hello,

If you don't have some 3rd part software or something built at your organization, i don't know how.

If you have File-Aid, you can edit vsam that way.

Other tools exist as well, but i don't know all of their names.

What are you trying to do? If you post your requirement, we may be able to offer suggestions.

Hello,

3.2 does not work at every location. A message saying that vsam is not supported is presented.

Hi,

1. I think, if one opens the VSAM in proper layout with F2 or f;fa;2 option of file Aid, s/he can edit VSAM.

2. Alternatively, get your VSAM in some PS. Edit this PS & create a new VSAM with this new edited-PS.
