HI..
I would like to copy a SPOOL (SYSOUT,JES MSG,SYS MSG.. etc)information into eithere my personal PDS member or PS. Could you please tell me what are the commands need to apply for this??

XDC command will do to copy the SPOOL messages to copy in ps.

Hello:
Like the comment above, XDC command adjacent to the job that you wnat to copy would do the job for you.
Also, if the job is in SAR, then SAR by default has an option to copy the log to a member. I think it is option 5. Not quite sure as I dont use that now.

I already tried with XDC command but it was not working.. I am using JES Master for this... Could you please tell me if is there any othere commands to use for this..

Hello,
If you clarify "not working" someone may be able to offer a suggestion. "Not working" provides no info.
If you use "PRINT ODSN" / "PRINT"/ "PRINT CLOSE" you can get info from the spool into your own dataset. You should be able to get "help" on those commands from within SDSF. |
