How to save a submitted job as a member of a PDS ?

Hi All,

I submitted one job which ran fine but somehow, someone has modified that member which had my job written in it and I do not have a backup copy of it.

I can go to the IOF and edit my job from there to get the JCL but am not able to save that in a member of a PDS.

Could you please let me know, How do i do that.

From SDSF your can edit your JCL from the run output and on the command line enter

REPLACE 'dataset(member)'

and in the number margin on the first line type C99999

And then hit enter

In addition to the above, you can use CREATE command also

CREATE ' Member name'

and on the left hand side number line type c99999

you can go to edit mode and do cut and paste.
