Hi, one of my customer is looking for a Freelance Operateur Mainframe in Charleroi Belgium.

Time: Full Time
Working different shift and some Gard in the weekend
Pay: Depend on experience (good)

TASKS OPERATION

Agent should be able to:

JCL - Modify, correct, read (understanding), ? JCLS for the batch jobs.

NETVIEW

- use the netview console
- manage the inventory
- manage the subsystems owned by the automate
- manage the vote, tree, ?

Scheduling

(Root of the operator job) [Tivoli Workload Scheduling]
- View, add, modify, delete, ? the daily planning
- follow and check the correct flow of the batch process

OS390 - MVS / JES 3

General knowledge about MVS & JES 3 commands and processes (Z/Serie environment)

Debugging

- use logging tools ($avrs, EJES, System logs, ?)
- seek the relevant information.
- analyse and find error in abended batch jobs.

File Transfert

- use NDM / BDT
- seek the information
- restart the transferts

IMS

- identify transactions, programs, DBs
- stop/start them
- check links, message regions, ?
- add, update, correction, ?of news definitions of terminals, logons, printers, transactions, DBS, ? (GEN IMS)
- monitor the IMS

Output Management

- manage the MAINFRAME printers (physically & on printer server)
- sort, distribute important prints.

TSO utilities

- navigate between TSO utilities, menus, GDGs decyclage, RMF, KD25, ?
- use correctly these tools

VMS/Watchdog

*** specificity: General knowledge about VAX environment (provided by a 'senior' operator)

Factory - IPP *** specificity: General knowledge about their processes.

FIN & MRP Flow *** specificity: General knowledge about these flows
(inside training + experience)

Hardware Console

- manage the Hardware Management Console (IBM)
- perform IPL & Power On Reset

OMEGAMON

- use this monitoring tool
- analyse the results given

SYNTHESE (VM25)
