passing of value for symbolic parameters

Hi, can anyone please tell me, if file in proc contains symbolic parametrs, then value for symbolic parameter can be passed through JCL itself or can we pass through proc also

You can specify initial/default values on the PROC statement.

You can specify run-time values on the EXEC statement.

If you do as Bill requests, we can offer suggestions on what you have.
